This Flax Vegan Chocolate Crinkles recipe is quick + easy and a holiday specialty, but great for anytime! These are Flax-a-Licious Vegan Chocolate Crinkles!
1/2 cup Cocoa Powder
1 cup Sugar (use 3/4 cup if you are like us and prefer a little less sweet)
3/4 cup Flour
1/2 cup Flakes o' Gold or Ground Premium Gold Flaxseed
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Add to all ingredients and mix together:
6 Tablespoon water
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup oil
Once all the ingredients are mixed together, the dough should be gooey. Take a spoonful of dough and roll it into small balls (~1.5 inches across)
Roll in powdered sugar (a good thick layer makes these pretty!)
Bake at 325* for 12 to 15 minutes. If you like not-so-chewy cookies, bake for 15 mins; If you like them very gooey, 10-11 mins will be perfect!
Cool on the pan for about 3 mins and then scoop off onto plate to finish cooling (otherwise they get stuck!). Store in a airtight container.
