Easy Flax Granola Bars

by Julie
(MN)

1/4 C- butter or margarine
4 C- mini marshmallows
1 C- oat meal or rolled oats
1 C- crushed graham crackers
1/2 C- raisins (or 1/4 dried craisins and 1/4 c raisins) that's what I do!!!
1/4 C- sunflower seeds. (I use broken almonds and a few pumpkin seeds)
1 C- coconut (I hate coconut, so I do not put it in)
1/2 C- ground flax seeds

Melt butter in microwave safe bowl (or on stove top on low in a large pot).
Add marshmallows, microwave high 1 min, stir and microwave again until melted (or on stove on low until mixture is melted and smooth).

Stir in the rest of ingredients until mixed well.

Press into a 9x13 pan, I like to use a shallow bar pan.

The last batch, I added a bit of peanut butter to marshmallow mixture. Yummy:)
